Strawberry Matcha Latte
This easy strawberry matcha latte is a beautiful layered drink made with matcha powder, strawberries, and milk. This is inspired by the Strawberry Matcha Latte from Boba Guys, a popular boba tea shop. Add ice and boba for an easy refreshing drink!

- ¾ cup milk dairy or plant based
- ¾ cup strawberries fresh or frozen
- 3 Tablespoons sugar more or less to taste
- 3 Tablespoons hot water
- 1 ½ teaspoon matcha powder
- ice to serve (optional)
- boba (optional)
Strawberry puree: Puree the strawberries with sugar using a blender, masher, or the back of a fork. Continue until sugar is completely dissolved.
¾ cup strawberries, 3 Tablespoons sugar
Matcha: Add half the hot water to the matcha powder and mix vigorously with a small whisk until it's lump free. Add the remaining hot water and mix.
1 ½ teaspoon matcha powder, 3 Tablespoons hot water
Assemble: Add a bottom layer of strawberry puree to a 16oz glass. Add ice and boba, if using. Add the milk so it creates a second layer above the strawberry puree. Finally gently pour the matcha layer on top to create the final top layer. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Enjoy!
