Cilantro Jalapeno Hemp Seed Hummus Without Tahini

This cilantro jalapeno hemp seed hummus is creamy, spicy, healthy, and made without tahini! An easy recipe that's perfect for dipping vegetables or pita!

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz canned garbanzo beans drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 Tablespoons lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • ½ cup cilantro chopped
  • ½ jalapeno pepper or full pepper depending on desired spice level
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt to taste I used ½ teaspoon

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a food processor. Start by pulsing the food processor until the ingredients start to break down. Blend until it's smooth. Serve immediately with vegetables or pita bread for dipping.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container. Keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
